This custom built home with 3 bedrooms, a loft and two bathrooms is located in the quiet neighborhood of Sky High Ranch (five miles west of Bear Valley). This well thought out home has an open floor plan with vaulted ceilings, a massive stone fireplace, wood interiors and flooring throughout.  The wall of windows in  the living area allows lots of natural light all year round.   There's a 6 person  hot tub on the wrap around  deck and a sauna in basement. The house sits high on its lot making it very private.  It is the perfect home for one or two families.  Owner has taken great care with amenities and style, including a well appointed kitchen with a gas range. This home is accessible year round but access is limited in winter to 4 wheel drive vehicles with clearance.   The cabin is a 5 miles west of Bear Valley village and 8 miles from Bear Valley Mountain Resort.   Sky High Ranch is a quiet community located 5 miles west of Bear Valley village. It has 260 lots with houses on approxiamately half of the lots. It has between 6 to 8 full time residents. Common areas include a pond with Washoe Indian grinding holes. The development butts up to National Forest land so there are really nice places to explore off the beaten path. If you like the idea of a quiet, in the woods, but still easy to get to place, Sky High Ranch is it.
